2010-01-19 Richardson & Patel Announces Two New Partners
Los Angeles, CA (January 19, 2010) - Richardson & Patel, LLP today announced the hiring of David Gordon as Partner and promotion of Albert Liou to Partner. The addition of Mr. Gordon and Mr. Liou to the partnership is part of an ongoing commitment to bolstering the firm’s litigation practice. Mr. Gordon joins as head of litigation in its New York office from Shoeman, Updike & Kaufman LLP. Mr. Gordon comes to Richardson & Patel with 17 years of experience in business litigation. Mr. Gordon received an undergraduate degree from Columbia College in 1989. He received his J.D. degree from Georgetown University in 1992. Mr. Gordon is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey, the United States District Court, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York and District of New Jersey, and the Second and Third Circuits of the U.S. Court of Appeals. Mr. Liou has been an associate at Richardson & Patel for five years. Mr. Liou was co-lead in the firm’s medical malpractice case which yielded California’s largest affirmative jury verdict in 2007. Mr. Liou received a B.A. degree in Political Science from John Hopkins University in 1992. He received his J.D. degree from Loyola Law School in 1995. Mr. Liou is admitted to practice law before all California state courts and the United States District Court, Central District of California.
